Ms. Peggy is our special clinic cat. She was found in an animal trap and brought to us when she was only about 6-7 weeks old. The local Humane Society brought to us because of all her birth defects. Peggy has a hair-lip, 3 deformed legs, blind, and a shortened tail. Despite all her special needs, she is just as spunky and feisty as any other cat you may meet. Once we saw her, our office manager fell in love with her first, but soon, all of us came to love Peggy. She goes by Ms. Peggy, Peg, Peggers, and Peg-Peg. She loves her early morning "lovin's" by Mrs. Dotty and her playtime with Cary and the folders. Her favorite toy is crumpled post-its. Every day, she demands her morning snack of boiled egg and chirps when she needs your attention. She loves her ear and chin scratches and will lay in our arms as long as we promise to pet her.

Don't let her cuteness fool you. She'll nibble on your fingers if she's ready to play or done with her lovin's. She loves to growl when it is time to trim her nails and likes to let us know what she wants and when she wants it. Even with her disabilities, Peg knows where exactly she wants to be. If she is tired of laying in her bed, she'll roll herself anywhere on the floor of our lobby to hear the sounds of the clinic. She loves to chew on hair, necklaces, and anything made of paper. She hates baths with a passion. However, Peggy loves to nap in her water bowl. Yes, her water bowl. There has been several occasions when we have awoken her and half of her face is drenched in water. She loves to hunt the flies that wander in the clinic and chew up the records that are closest to the ground. Ms. Peggy is our lovable spitfire that we love to spoil on any given day.
